Sutlej Riverfront Clean-Up & Water Survey
Collect waste along a two-kilometre stretch, then log pH and turbidity readings that feed a public open dataset.
This is not a photo-op clean-up. Half the morning is collection along a marked two-kilometre stretch; the other half is measurement — pH, turbidity and visible pollutant counts at five fixed sampling points.
Every reading you take goes into the campaign’s public dataset, which local journalists and the municipal corporation both draw on. Your name appears in the contributor list for that month.
Bring a water bottle and a hat. Everything else is provided.
